Summary:
The Agile Principal Project Manager acts as a business and technical initiative leader. This role partners with the business and technical drivers and product owners/managers to deliver required capabilities, including management of schedule, scope, IT and business resources, financials, benefit tracking, and issue/risk identification and mitigation to ensure successful completion of initiatives.

The Agile Principal Project Manager may directly manage or perform duties as a Project Manager, Product Manager, and/or Scrum Master on an initiative. Accountable for monitoring the teams' work and completion progress in Planview, this role may also perform matrix management for initiative and product staff.

Requirements
  • Ability to consult with all levels including senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision-making
  • Ability to effectively maneuver through organizational dynamics and tailor approach to ensure optimal outcome
  • Experience determining key business issues, monitoring product roadmaps, developing effective action plans, and implementing delivery of business value.
  • Experience evaluating trade-offs between initiative size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
  • Understand and manage Development Value Streams
  • Experience validating financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related initiative or product expenditures

Qualifications:
  • 10-15 years of experience in delivering Agile initiatives and programs
  • Position is hands on and may have oversight for other product, project or program managers depending on the assignment complexity
  • Position is accountable for defining, managing, and coordinating product delivery across business, systems, digital, data and infrastructure teams
  • Managing agile/scrum cross-functional teams and implementing agile methodologies within an IT organization
  • Agile Product Management experience is a plus
  • Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SDLC delivery experience required

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) preferred
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) required
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification preferred


Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
