Contract Specialist located in Dallas, Texas

. In this role, you will ,

coordinate the preparation of new/more complex contract assignments and administers existing contracts to support the business.

What You Will Do: Reviewing and drafting contract terms and documents to ensure contract reflects agreed upon requirements.

Participating in customer negotiations.

Providing guidance to business teams during contract negotiations to meet contract requirements.

Conducting and communicating risk evaluation for assigned contract transactions to ensure company business objectives are met.

Contracts Review

:

: Knowledge of the contractual and legal matters related to expenditures (consulting services, maintenance, agreements, acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.); ability to evaluate, interpret and improve the language used in contractual agreements. Maintains files of relevant information for specific customers, vendors, or contracts.

Assesses key legal considerations associated with terms and conditions of a contract.

Interprets legal documents detailing service provisions by an outside party.

Assists in evaluating specific pricing and delivery alternatives while analyzing benefits and drawbacks of each.

Monitors compliance with contract specifications and regulations.

Basic Requirements: In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Salesforce

5+ years of experience with government contracts (acquire and/or execution)
