Responsibilities

Ascension Trinity Behavioral is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider for our Psychiatryteam.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Trinity Behavioralto provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• Monday through Friday
• Weekend call compensation - 1 weekend a month with compensationof $1,400.00
• Performing H&P, mediciaton evaluation and managemt
• Providing inpatient and outpatient, call and consultation

Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
