Baptist Health is hiring an Auditor to join the Compliance team. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity. This position requires you work in the office on certain days and live in the Jacksonville, Florida area. This is a healthcare compliance auditing position.
Responsibilities:
Ability to interpret and understand health care federal and state requirements to develop and implement audit tools
Work collaboratively with multiple departments within Baptist Health to conduct audits and monitor internal compliance with applicable federal and state regulatory and licensure requirements
Evaluate current state departmental and operational workflows
Identify best practices, and optimize compliance performance future state
Align policies and procedures and training for compliance with applicable new or revised applicable federal and state laws
Partner with key stakeholders to make process and/or system changes in response to changing regulatory requirements and/or corrective action plans
Draft factual, accurate, concise, and objective audit and monitoring reports
Measure compliance performance metrics.
