Ariel Clinical Services MissionTo provide safe, nurturing, and supportive environments for our clients so that they may have the opportunities to develop their strengths, maximize their potentials and fully participate in society.Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Under the guidance of the BCBA, implement behavior services to persons receiving services (PRS) to improve socially significant behaviors.2. Complete data collection and billing documentation in an accurate and timely manner.3. Communicate effectively and efficiently with PRS, guardians, independent contractors, and other relevant parties effectively and promptly.4. Provide training or modeling under the guidance of the BCBA.5. Provide transportation of PRS when necessary.6. Ensure compliance with Ariel, BACB, state, and federal regulations. 7. Follow all safety procedures and agency policies. Additional Duties and Responsibilities 1. Must work closely with other Ariel programs.2. Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1. Ability to use science, logic, and evidence to make decisions surrounding programming, and the ability to promote interventions that are behavior analytic. 2. Knowledge of various developmental disabilities. 3. Ability to be flexible, and able to change direction rapidly, with a positive and respectful attitude.4. Ability to demonstrate regular attendance, and work outside of traditional office hours and settings including: nights, weekends and holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the agency and individuals served.5. Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification at hire.Certifications/Licenses•Valid Colorado Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.•CPR, First Aid - before contact with persons receiving services (PRS). (Training provided by Ariel)•RBT Certification within 90 days of hire. (Employer paid)•CPI and Informed Supervision - within 60 days of hire; PRS' contact is limited until this training is completed. (Training provided by Ariel)•BSIT (Training provided by Ariel)•Person-Centered training (Training provided by Ariel)Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNonePhysical Demands1. This position requires that the incumbent be capable of walking, bending, standing, sitting, stooping, stretching, and/or reaching regularly for periods up to two hours without a break. 2. This position requires that the incumbent have adequate hand and finger dexterity to properly perform the functions of the position.3. This position requires lifting regularly up to 25 pounds, pulling or pushing persons in wheelchairs, transferring persons weighing more than 50 pounds to and from wheelchairs must be performed with another staff member.4. At times, physical interventions may be required.5. This position requires the ability to hear, see, smell and distinguish temperature, at a level which is adequate to ensure client and staff health and safety. Adaptive devices are acceptable.6. This position will require daily driving of up to one hour per day and occasionally up to eight hours per day. Work Environment1. Work settings may include a vocational setting, Ariel day program, community outings, and persons receiving services' residences.2. Work may take place inside as well as outside environments.3.
