**Description**
**Position Objective:**
Keep premises of facility in clean and orderly condition. Assist guests courteously, and efficiently.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Cleans and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
* Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and all other areas of the facility.
* Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.
* Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
* Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork.
* Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels and sills.
* Empties and cleans wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
* Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
* Disinfects restrooms and replenishes bathroom supplies.
* Transports small equipment or tools between departments. Sets up tables and chairs when necessary.
* Performs setup and teardown of special events as scheduled.
* Maintains work area and storage areas secure and in an orderly fashion.
* Reports damage to equipment or facility to the supervisor or manager.
* Operates 2 way radio
* Has a basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and daily care of equipment.
* Proper chemical use and handling.
* Blood borne pathogen training.
* Clean up spills and report trip hazards.
* Must be able to work flexible schedule which includes working holidays, nights, and weekends.
**Personal Qualifications:**
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to write simple correspondence.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
* Ability to execute work details and assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Manager, Foreman, and Assistant Foreman
