Quality Inspector

Responsibilities
- Use observational skills to identify discrepancies between materials, product parts, or finished products and the blueprints.
- Quickly and efficiently assess incoming products at their assigned stage of production.
- Use gauges to inspect parts and ensure they meet company standards.
- Perform final inspection on all outgoing parts.
- Inspect all received parts.
- Stand, twist, and bend for 10-11 hours per shift.
- Lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.
- 1-2 years of related and recent quality experience in a steel or metal facility.
- Experience reading blueprints.
- 1 year experience using gauges (bore and manual).
- Experience with micrometers.
- Experience with tight tolerances.
- Proficiency with mics, calibers, and gauges.
- Experience in quality control and quality assurance.
