Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and system software to ensure high levels of availability and security.

Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and data backup systems to safeguard artistic works and digital assets, including inventory data.

Own the infrastructure for both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

Provide technical support and guidance to users, addressing and resolving IT issues in a timely manner.

Ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place.

Manage access to all user accounts for company services.

Provide technical support to employees for specialized creative software and hardware.

Keep accurate records of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses, related to inventory management tools.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.

Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server.

Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation tasks.

Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox, Docker).

Knowledge of system security techniques and best practices, including access controls and disaster recovery.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems across various technology stacks.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a system administration role, managing both servers and network infrastructures.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.

Proven experience in IT support, system administration, network administration, and inventory management.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
