Consider ourWelderposition here withBastian SolutionsA Welder will be responsible for producing weldments for Material Handling Equipment projects.The main emphasis for this position is welding/fitting, light to moderate fabrication along with general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions equipment.A Welder will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by individual prints.Job Functions:Rely on training protocols and previous professional skill to create a solution for project needsMaintain a healthy professional partnership with employees; positive, team-focused individualGeneral knowledge of fabrication equipment including horizontal saws, lathes, mills, drill pressesOnsite weld test given prior to employment to establish skill setBuild high quality welded parts from blueprints provided by our Engineering groupMaintain provided tolerances for project specificationsAbility to produce parts from sheet metal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum to create required partsKeep workspace in a neat and organized orderExperienced in MIG welding practices; TIG is occasionally used on a based on customer demandFollow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)Preferred Skills Qualifications:Minimum of HS Diploma or GED equivalentPrevious experience as a welder in a manufacturing environmentProficient with MIG welding; TIG welding is a plusExperience with complex/custom welding projects are highly preferredAbout Bastian Solutions:Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.
