Film Intern

Job Description

This intern will focus on video editing software, workflows and film project organization. They will assist in reviewing raw footage and creating select clips from production projects. They will also be uploading and tagging clips within Tauck's asset management system, and transcribing video interviews and creating closed captioning files.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
•Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit with a focus on video: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop
•Understanding of non-linear editing timelines
•Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
•Strong proficiency with MS Excel & Word and Google docs/sheets
•Strong English/writing skills

PREFERRED SKILLS & INTERESTS:
•Interest in travel and travel industry
•Quick learner with the ability to multi-task
•Practice good follow-through on tasks / assignments
•Ability to learn database applications to complete various projects
•Flexible with assigned tasks and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment
•Presentation skills
