We are looking for unique individuals to represent our culture of service. We offer free or reduced-cost meals depending on location, tuition reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Vital criteria for matching with this position include:

Part time Cashier/Floater to work in a government cafeteria 20-30 hours per week; must be available Monday-Friday 6:30am - 4:30pm. No night shifts, holidays or weekend.

Requirements

Requirements include:
  • Must hold a California Food Handlers card. If expired, must renew.
  • Must have 6 months of previous cashier/food handling experience.
Basic job duties include:
  • Cashiering, ringing up transactions on a POS system
  • Front of house and back of house cleaning, assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area
  • Light food prep, putting orders away, assembling grab-n-go food items, stocking grab-n-go coolers, stock retail snacks and beverages
  • Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidates present in a professional manner and have good people skills, must be outgoing, a self-starter and detailed oriented. Must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
