We have a Contract opportunity with a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry for an Engineering Technician.
Requirements:
A High School diploma or equivalent
An associate's Degree is highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrical field.

responsibilities:
Conducts teardown and destructive testing as part of the product development process, verifying and validating proposed changes to existing products.
Participates in product failure analysis, suggesting design improvements based on observation and test results.
Sets up various electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, including environmental chambers and product-specific test equipment.
Designs and documents testing configurations and setups, creating comprehensive test reports.
Demonstrates an understanding of electromechanical systems and the ability to identify mechanical, electrical, or system abnormalities.
Possesses hands-on instrumentation and data acquisition experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong verbal, writing, and organizational skills for record-keeping and data provision.
Background with measurement test equipment and working knowledge of pneumatics.
Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with mechanical gauging instruments such as micrometers, calipers, force gages, dial indicators, and hardness testers.
Experience in testing to verify compliance with environmental requirements (shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, electromagnetic, etc.) is advantageous.
Knowledge of PLC, Ladder Logic, and Micro-controllers is a plus.
