Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) is seeking a patient focused individual in our lab department. The PRN Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a safe manner.

• Takes care of any patient needs promptly and willingly.
• Obtains blood specimens through venipuncture or capillary finger stick or Port methods from patients as ordered.
• Accurately preserves the integrity of specimens.
• Educates patients on specimen collection and answers questions.
• Stocks lab area as needed.
• Assists lab staff in processing specimens for reference lab.
• Demonstrates NCS Mission and Core Values through actions and words.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

• Certified Phlebotomist with at least 1-2 years of experience.
• Must possess and demonstrate Nebraska Cancer Specialists' core values of Purpose, Relationship, Innovation and Excellence.
