This means you should be someone who: enjoys educating and connecting with people communicates effectively will advocate for patients is licensed and has demonstrable technician and animal handling skills is reliable and trustworthy shows adaptability and resilience Responsibilities and Qualifications Job Titles and Tiers As a Tier 1 Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at Cara Veterinary, you play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and quality of care for our animal patients while fostering positive client interactions. Your expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities, including basic clinical tasks and client service functions. You are proficient in practice management software, capable of obtaining and documenting vital signs, and skilled in various patient care procedures. As a Tier 2 LVT, your role expands to a broader range of clinical procedures, in-house lab work, and advanced medical equipment management. Tier 3 involves anesthesia, surgical support, anesthetic equipment management, and ophthalmological procedures under DVM supervision. Tier 4 encompasses leadership, training, mentoring, and advanced medical administration.
