About the role:
Enphase Energy’s Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for hiring, leading and training inside sales representatives and solar consultants at Enphase. The position will closely collaborate with the solar product business units, channel marketing, installer partners and hardware sales team on strategy and execution to turn inbound consumer leads into qualified and ready to buy appointments for our installation partners. This pivotal role will be responsible for delivery of sales revenue, hitting margin targets, and servicing customers tracked through key metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business, technical, and leadership skills. S/he will establish plans and strategies to expand existing customer business and grow a new customer base. The position is open in Boise, ID and Austin, TX.
What you will do:
• Lead the team of solar consultants and inside sales at Enphase.
• Hire top talent and train them to be exceptional.
• Coach existing staff to develop their selling skills (discovery calls, deal execution, negotiations).
• Service customer needs with an exceptional NPS, while increasing demand for our lead generation and qualification service.
• Develop metrics and use data to continually assess both sales and call center performance.
• Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets set by the company.
• Execute company strategy to expand B2C business.
• Build both an onboarding program as well as continuous training and enablement to help ISRs. build on their existing sales skills and career development.
Who you are and what you bring:
• Proven track record of consistent performance, motivating inside sales teams, and a demonstrated capability of selling solar products in B2C space.
• 5 + years of senior leadership experience in a B2C solar sales/lead generation call center.
• 7+ years of directly managing revenue generation via an inside sales call center team.
• Great presence and excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentations skills.
• Builder mentality, self-starter, and go-getter; able to work in fast-paced environments and comfortable working through unknowns.
• Career champion with a proven ability in mentorship or coaching.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce, building reports, and other tools to drive productivity.
• BA/BS degree required.
The base salary range for TX candidates is $190,000 to $245,000.
This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
