ALOHA Collection is in search of a Part Time Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team in Ala Moana

OVERVIEW

The Sales Associate provides customers with an exceptional shopping experience through pleasant greeting and engagement. They will assist in the execution of all in-store visual merchandising, including signage and displays. The Sales Associate will also obtain or receive merchandise, accepts payment, and makes change for customers in the retail store by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
  • Sets up and maintains advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
  • Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise select by customer.
  • Answers customer's questions about the brand, products and usage, location, and price.
  • Attends customer complaints and works to resolve any problems to restore and promote good public relations.
  • Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customers to determine purchase total.
  • Accepts payment and makes change.
  • Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
  • Receives, examines, and processes customer returns.
  • Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
  • Calculates sales discount to determine price.
  • Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders merchandise.
  • Stays informed about all relevant company information.
EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Prior retail experience
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Great written and oral communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Works well in group problem solving situations
  • Adapts to new technologies; troubleshoots technological problems; uses technology to increase productivity; keeps technical skills up to date
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to commute to the retail store located in Waikiki, HI.

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • Weekends as needed
PAY:
  • $18 - $20, hourly
