Job Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Pittsburgh, PA Contract Type: 12-month contract Hourly Rate: $35-$45, dependent on experience The Green Recruitment Company is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join a leading team working on Utility Scale Solar PV Sites in Pittsburgh. This 12-month contract role offers an hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, based on your expertise and experience in the field. About the Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Your technical skills will ensure the high performance and reliability of solar installations that significantly contribute to sustainable energy production. This position involves hands-on field work, troubleshooting, and regular interaction with clients to provide exceptional service and support. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of solar PV equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Respond to service calls and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

Perform technical evaluations of solar installations and suggest improvements or upgrades.

Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to enhance system performance.

Maintain accurate service logs and reports for system operations and maintenance activities.

Provide training and support to clients on new systems and technology.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details in a clear manner.

Flexibility to travel to different sites within the Pittsburgh area and work in various outdoor conditions.

Technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
