The company is headquartered near Chicago, IL with manufacturing facilities worldwide Work can be performed at any one of the locations in IL, FL, or TX.IMPACT: The Business Analyst will support the company's JD Edwards ERP system, with an emphasis on sales and distribution. This enterprise-wide role will support system implementations, configurations and process Improvements as well as troubleshoot daily system and business process issues. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Responsible for Sales Order Entry, Marketing, Advanced Pricing, Distribution, Shipping and Customer interface functionality in JD Edwards, EDI, Portal Order Entry and Testing.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and document functional specifications for sales and distribution processes.Conduct in-depth analysis of existing sales and distribution workflows, identify pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements and optimizations.Configure and customize the JDE system to meet business requirements, including setting up sales orders, pricing structures, customer profiles, and distribution channels.Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion. Generate insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.Develop test scenarios, conduct system testing, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of sales and distribution functionalities. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on sales and distribution processes, system functionalities, and best practices. Follow SDLC Standards, Create documentation and user guides to support ongoing system usage.Facilitate change management processes, communicate system changes and updates to stakeholders, and ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes and technologies.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sales and distribution management. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.IDEAL PROFILE:7+ years of experience in two or more of the following JD Edwards modules / areas: Distribution, Sales Order, Advanced Pricing, Warehousing, Shipping, Transportation (versions 8.9 to 8.11 or above). Prior work in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Successfully completed at least one full JDE E1 implementation involving multiple site configuration set up, with proven incorporation of structured planning and testing processes.Full understanding of order management / customer fulfillment in an e-commerce context with familiarity with e-commerce platform maintenance & development. Experience with EDI is preferred.Knowledge of emerging technologies and enhancements that will allow processes improvements and enhanced business functionality.Good understanding of business processes to develop new processes and reporting based on requirements, metrics and KPI's.Ability to prepare SQL statements using TOAD or SQL Developer is a plus.Proficiency to review legacy ERP and customer data for migration purposes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Travel, as necessary, to support existing or newly acquired businesses.Must reside within commutable distance to one of the following plant locations: IL (Elgin, Oakbrook, Streater), FL (Tampa) or TX (Houston).
