Staff Engineer, Software Development (Andover, MA) Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. is seeking a Staff Engineer, Software Development (Andover, MA) to design Windows Desktop GUI applications that work with Infineon's DC/DC power conversion products. Perform software/GUI testing and validation with end applications such as multiphase voltage regulators, class D audio amplifiers and motor control and drive systems. Create documentation of Software/GUI designs for controller products through feature definition, user guides and white papers. Design embedded firmware applications that enable Infineon's DC/DC power conversion products: Embedded firmware design using C and some assembly code for microcontroller-based ICs. Design USB device driver firmware for adapter and dongle modules. Design firmware for device programming using OTP and FLASH. Ensure that the firmware development and validation process so that high-quality, well documented firmware is developed and delivered to Infineon's customer.

Your Profile:

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in writing software and firmware. Must have experience in: Programming in C, C#, C++, Python and JavaScript; Debugging Software and firmware communication with hardware circuits; Application Knowledge of DC/DC Power Conversion, Class D Audio Amplifiers and Motor Control and Drive Systems; Version control systems such as Git; Bug tracking system such as JIRA; Serial communication protocols like I2C, PMBus, SPI and UART. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
