Job Title: Director, Software Engineering

Job Duties: Parexel International LLC seeks a Director, Software Engineering based in Newton, MA to manage software and infrastructure design for corporate applications. Manage work intake for Order to Cash and Record to Report Systems, using Oracle Project Finance, PEGA, and Oracle Hyperion. Manage business and technical engagements linked to SAAS applications. Engage in data analysis, database design, programming and software development, and systems design for IT, finance, and procurement systems. Lead analysis, development, and design of BPM applications. Apply data analysis, data modelling, and quality assurance techniques to establish, modify, and maintain data structures and associated components including entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, and attribute definitions. Advise members of application development team on details of data structures and associated components. Analyze data requirements to establish, modify, and maintain object and data models. Evaluate potential solutions and lead demonstration, installation, and commissioning of selected products. Design, code, test, correct, and document complex programs and scripts from specifications. Lead reviews of colleagues' work. Specify user and system interfaces and translate logical designs into physical designs, taking target environment, performance, security requirements, and existing systems into account. Oversee leadership, management, and development of team members to ensure their performance meets objectives. Position may telecommute from anywhere in the United States up to 5 days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Employer requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of software development experience in: 1) BPM systems integration and implementation; 2) Analysis, development, and design of BPM applications using Pega and Oracle technologies BPM, IAC, Portal, UI/CSS customization, Access and Security, Interfaces, Reports, Activities and System Administration functionalities; 3) Software development using Oracle APEX in Agile environment with SCRUM; and 4) Using data analysis, data modelling, and quality assurance techniques to establish, modify, and maintain data structures and associated components, including entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, and attribute definitions.
