General Description

The Chief Financial Officer will partner with the Chief Executive Officer and play an integral role in strategic planning, executing the Company’s overall financial strategy, including M&A activities, formalization of internal processes and controls, achieving internal financial goals and managing the finance functions across multiple lines of business.

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for leading all aspects of the finance and accounting functions for the company.

Work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute overall financial strategy to achieve organizational objectives and long-term financial sustainability.

Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and in compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Manage liquidity and cash flow, including overseeing banking relationships, debt financing, investments and working capital management.

Provide strong leadership to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or other strategic transactions to assess their financial impact and alignment with organizational goals.

Other functions as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 10+ years of proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader.

Strong knowledge of financial management principles, GAAP and tax regulations.

Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial concepts into actionable business strategies.

Proven experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Experience working with Private Equity, preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred.
