DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)•Produce high quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.•Provide proper radiation protection measures.•Working with the hospital or clinic EMR's to generate and complete exam orders.•Work well with other departments to improve patient and staff experiences.•Perform, record, and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.•Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.•Regular attendance, including clocking in and out at scheduled times and minimal unplanned time off.•Maintain clinical competency and current professional knowledge, by completing in-house education and competencies, learning new protocols, and new equipment training.•Transporting patients.•Knowledge of PACS systems, releasing/transmitting images.•Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and Nursing units.
