As an Associate Manager Compliance Sourcing, you will lead a team of Global Procurement Compliance Specialists supporting and maintaining cGMP compliance aspects of procurement operations. Major activities include the management and facilitation of the Approved Supplier List (ASL), support of regulatory inspections, SOP writing and revision, and the management of the development of a Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) management process. A typical day may include the following: - Leading and developing Global IOPS Strategic Sourcing & Procurement compliance employees. - Ensuring the team of compliance employees operate as a global cohesive unit taking advantage of the efficiencies and ensuring compliance for all IOPS sites. - Overseeing/directing the maintenance of the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and associated Periodic Review of suppliers. - Interfacing daily with Quality Assurance and other areas removing obstacles, resolve issues, and facilitating critical decisions pertaining to the Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) management process. - Continually reassess Global Procurement systems and processes for adherence to cGMPs and industry standard methodologies and implements changes/improvements. - Representing Global Procurement on various topics during regulatory inspections and coordinates responses to inspection observations as applicable. - May either directly or through a matrix structure, manage a team responsible for performing supplier quality management tasks. To be considered, you are required to have a bachelor's degree plus 7 years of relevant, progressive experience in procurement and a regulated environment. Experience in Pharma/BioPharma or a cGMP environment is preferred. Experience managing global category processes and suppliers across a breadth of categories. Demonstrated success managing the global supply market evaluation process using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools. Experience leading and guiding associate-level professionals, including writing performance reviews, setting annual objectives, coaching, and developing direct reports, is preferred. Solid understanding with sourcing contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems preferred (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other). Does this sound like you?
