Education: Must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services will be provided within 90 days of employment, or hold a license as a Clinical Fellow during the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Clinical Fellows must be mentored by a state-licensed and ASHA-certified SLP employed by Parkview Health. If a CFY, state licensure must be obtained within 18 months of starting the fellowship. Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) if not in the CFY. Certifications: Must be certified in CPR or obtain certification within 90 days of employment. All certifications and licensure must be maintained according to expiration dates. Driving Requirements: If driving a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required. Experience: Work experience is preferred but not required, aside from clinical experience within the educational training program. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently, assist with 100 pounds, and may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Flexibility: Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
