Job Title: Proposal Writer and DesignerLocation:Bensalem, PA - Hybrid (3 Office Days/Week)Job Type:Full-Time (Hybrid/3 days onsite/ 2 remote)Reports To: Business DevelopmentAbout Us:Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is an experienced partner managing housekeeping, dining, and dietitian services within the healthcare market.We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Proposal Writer and Designer to join our team. This role is critical in helping us secure new business opportunities by crafting compelling and visually appealing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and supporting our business development team with high-quality presentations.Responsibilities:Content Development:Write, edit, and proofread content for RFP responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements and company standards.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and tailor responses to address specific RFP criteria.Develop persuasive and customized executive summaries, technical sections, case studies, andotherrelevant content.Design and Layout:Design the layout and visual elements of RFP responses, including infographics, charts, tables, and other graphical elements to enhance readability and visual appeal.Ensure all proposals are formatted consistently and professionally, adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.Use design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva) to create and integrate visual content into proposals.Presentation Support:Assist the business development team by designing and developing engaging presentations for client meetings, pitches, and internal reviews.Create visually compelling slides thateffectivelycommunicate key messages and support overall presentation goals.Project Management:Maintain a proposal content library and design templates to streamline the proposal creation process.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in proposal writing, technical writing, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to enhance proposal content and design.Familiarity with RFP databases and proposal management software (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio).Experience with CRM tools, ideally SalesforceKnowledge of best practices in proposal writing and design.Portfolio showcasing your writing and design work.HCSG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, ethnicity, pregnancy status, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, political opinions, or affiliations, veteran status, or other legally protected classes.
