Job Description: This role will lead a team of 3 to 5 members providing skills and resources focused on supporting the continuous improvement of operations and manufacturing processes across the RIOP Global manufacturing footprint. Role will work closely with the facilities to prioritize requests, coordinate resources and monitor initiative progress. Frequent travel to facilitate hands-on implementation and improvement activities is required. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Identifying, replicating and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives. Reviewing and prioritizing incoming resource requests. Identifying correct team members to support request and maintaining deployment schedule. Development and training of team members that perform and support the improvement and replication projects. Top Candidates Will Have: Hands on shop floor experience (Assembly, Machining, Fabrication) Experience in manufacturing automation Degree Requirement: Degree or equivalent experience desired What Skills You Will Have: Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward. Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing. Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes. Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements. Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities. Additional Information: The primary location for this position is Decatur IL, East Peoria IL, Denison TX, South Milwaukee WI. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Travel will be up to 75%.
