WebFOCUS Developer

Must Haves:

• WebFOCUS
• Informatica
• Knowledge of database schemas (Star and Snowflake)
• SQL
• Relational database experience: Oracle or SQL Server okay

Nice to Have:

• OLAP/OLTP database modeling
• Creating triggers, stored procedures in SQL
• Snowflake data warehouse
• Azure/AWS/GCP (all on-prem for the time being but will be roadmapping cloud migration)

Short Job Description:

Fidelity is looking for someone who can spin up reports involving workflow orchestration. Before they can even build reports, will need to import the data, organize it in the database, and extract transform and load it into a warehouse for analytics/reporting.

This person will have a hand in the whole process. The data comes in through downstream functions, they'll need to play some role (20%) as needed in the data modeling into Star/Snowflake schemas, OLAP/OLTP models, etc to organize it in the database. From there an Informatica) picks it up, extracts it, and then transforms it into a uniform data form, and loads it into a data warehouse. Finally, they will use WebFOCUS and Tableau to generate the reports for business teams to utilize/draw insights from.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

50% WebFOCUS, 30% ETL (Informatica), 20% Database Engineering

Primary Job Duties:

You will primarily be responsible for creating BI reports and visualizations in WebFOCUS, Tableau, and OBIEE

Secondary Job Duties:

You will do Informatica-driven ETL and some basic database development

You will be responsible for some of the analytics, modeling, and schema building

You will use ETL (Informatica) to prepare data for the final WebFOCUS and Tableau reporting

Notes :Candidates must come onsite to the Westlake, TX campus 3 days per month (one week per month, they will come onsite 3 days. Every other week will be 100% remote).
