**Schedule: OVERNIGHT 3 on 3 off rotating schedule- 5:00pm- 5:30am, must have open availability.**

About the Position

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensure the safe and reliable handling and issue of paper rolls within the Oxnard site. This position operates a sit-down forklift with large, oversized Clamp attachments. This role owns the supply chain effort between our papermaking and converting operations, with occasional support requests to our Stock prep department. This area is responsible for 24hr staffed service of two paper machines and eight converting lines.

Functions

* Ability to learn both RTCIS and SAP functionality (BOM)

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* PC skills a must

* Word, Excel , RTCIS, AGVS system

* Know how to scan PRs using PDA

* Know how to read Production Schedule

* Interface with SGV System

* Know SGV guide path

* Capable of lifting up to 50lbs

* Handling Hold Parent Rolls

* Understand all paper return processes

* Issuing and Receiving Parent Rolls

* Parent Roll E.O. and Flowchart Procedures

* Shipping / receiving of Parent Rolls

* Handling of Rejects and Hold Rolls

* Know Handling of Fire Roll and Warm Roll process

* Follow communication process for all warm and fire roll incidents

* Manually Delivery of Rolls to the Converting Lines

* Manually Loading/Unloading the PR Stands

* Know and execute shiftly PR Weights

* Manual Identification of PR

* Know PR EAP

* Know PR Storage Layout

* Know Parent Roll Overflow

* Know how to Change PR Truck Batteries

* Know who the Planning and Converting Contacts are

* Reasonable for IRA/Stack Audits

* Shiftly cycle counting

* Reasonable for GMP / QA

* Responsible for Maintaining Equipment

* Communication with both Stock prep and papermaking departments in regard to paper needs

* Communication with converting lines in regard to schedule, paper changes

* Know when to respond to Dry Ends

* Understand and execute cotton buds runs / procedures

* Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience. Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
