SummaryTo act as the liaison between Engineering, Operations, and QualityTo provide engineering support by troubleshooting manufacturing process and machining issues and implementing timely solutions in order to maintain the continuity of production flowTo monitor and debug new methods, equipment and procedures to ensure total system efficienciesMajor Duties Provides constant communication between Engineering, Operations, and QualitySupports Operations by providing technical support and engineering dataSupport Engineering by providing feedback, data and other information needed to process partsReviews and recommends improvements to manufacturing processesIdentifies need for established work procedure and standardized methodDocuments and communicates work procedure and standardized methods as neededIdentifies need for training and communicates need to appropriate managerAssist quality and manufacturing personnel in resolution of process issues and product non-conformancesReview print and purchase order requirements to determine manufacturing needs as requested by managementCreates designs for manufacturing, fixtures, and gagesOther Tasks Performs other tasks as required.Required Education Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience 3+ years of relevant work experience in CNC machining / manufacturing (8+ years if no degree in related field)Knowledge and understanding of quality instruments and how to use themExperience with business side of operation (quoting, customer relations, production planning, etc.)Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc. Ability to work in a team environmentAbility to securely organize and document data.Ability to communicate with internally / externally written and verbalPreferred additional Education and / or Experience Experience in project managementExperience setting up CNC equipment and writing programsExperience in leadership / supervisory positionExperience utilizing CAD/CAM softwareExperience training CNC machining to othersAdditional NotesARCH Global Precision is an Equal Opportunity Employee and wholeheartedly supports diversity in the workplace as a basic premise for business success.
