Day-to-Day The Metrologist will be responsible for: System Familiarization: * Becoming proficient with the MicroVu Inspection System, including its hardware, software, and capabilities. * Reviewing existing documentation and resources provided by MicroVu to gain a thorough understanding of the system's features and functionality. Programming with Existing Parts: * Working with engineering and quality assurance teams to obtain existing parts for inspection and programming. * Developing and optimize inspection programs using the MicroVu software to accurately measure and analyze key dimensions and features of the parts. * Ensuring that inspection programs are tailored to the specific requirements and tolerances of each part, considering factors such as material properties and geometric complexity. Verification and Validation: * Conducting comprehensive verification and validation of inspection programs to ensure accuracy and repeatability of measurements. * Performing test runs with sample parts to verify that the programmed inspection routines produce reliable results and meet quality standards. Documentation and Reporting: * Documenting all inspection programs, procedures, and training materials in a clear and organized manner. * Generating detailed reports summarizing inspection results, including measurements, tolerances, and any deviations from specifications. * Maintaining accurate records of all inspected parts, including traceability data and inspection history. Quality Assurance and Process Improvement: * Implementing quality control measures to ensure that the MicroVu Inspection Sys tem consistently produces accurate and reliable results. * Monitoring system performance and identify opportunities for process improvement or optimization, working with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes. Safety Compliance: * Ensuring that site personnel are trained in safe operating practices and adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines when using the MicroVu Inspection System. * Implementing appropriate safety features and protocols to mitigate risks associated with equipment operation and maintenance. Continuous Learning and Development: * Staying updated on the latest advancements and best practices in metrology and inspection technology, seeking out opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement. * Sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Other tasks may include, but are not limited to: mortgage requests, underwriting, forms, and requote assistance. Compensation:$50-60/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
