We offer a home like atmosphere where you feel like you belong the minute you arrive Our 14-bed Transitional Care Unit is small enough to get to know your co-workers and residents yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow. Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, nail care, dressing , showers and answers and responds to call lights)Support patients by helping to turn, lift or transferObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftPerforms environmental and other responsibilities as assigned such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner.May check and record vitals, per facility practice Required:Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start dateIf hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registryPreferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationAbility to communicate effectively with empathy and compassion for othersExperience working in a patient support role (HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant)Work experience in a customer service setting
