Our Jacksonville manufacturing facility has about 250 employees operating over three shifts.

Job Summary: The Lean Engineer is responsible for initiating and driving continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to the principles of lean manufacturing and the

planning/facilitation

of strategic plans, kaizen workshops, and other lean activities throughout the organization. Supports Operations leadership in driving and tracking continuous improvement projects, executing strategic and transformation plans.

Duties and Responsibilities: Coach and train associates in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles. Build upon the lean culture at Stanadyne by facilitating kaizen events utilizing the established Stanadyne Production System methodology including 6S, Standard Work, Variation Reduction Facilitate kaizen events utilizing the established Stanadyne Production System methodology including 6S, Standard Work, Variation Reduction Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, Value-Stream Mapping, and TPM Drives sustainment of kaizen improvements, identifying gaps and leading necessary actions. Utilize lean techniques to optimize manufacturing processes, reducing wastes. Update lean roadmaps productivity improvements monthly. Owns functional procedure, work instruction, training, and Master Data documentation. This includes creation, maintenance and global communication of these documents. Provides/coordinates

lean training and information distribution to members of the team, facilitating business process improvements, ensuring that systemic internal controls and standard work are understood and followed.

Qualifications: Lean Manufacturing Principles (Lean Production System, 6S, Kaizen Breakthrough Methodology, Pull System, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis (PDCA) Experience with APQP

Passion for Lean and Continuous Improvement Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles Including: Lean Production System, 6S, Kaizen Breakthrough Methodology, Pull Systems, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis (PDCA) Travel as required to plant locations. Strong facilitation and project management skills and the ability to lead a cross functional team. Required PC skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels in the organization.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field 5 years of LEAN manufacturing experience
