Accredo Packaging is seeking a qualified Material Handler. This position is located in Sugar Land, TX and will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Hourly Rate range: $17.00 - $19.00
The Material Handler is responsible for processing materials requests in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that production has the materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
•Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
•Processes material requests/returns.
•Scans movements.
•Pulls/stores material by operating a narrow aisle truck (swing reach/turret stock picker).
•Transports material by operating a forklift.
•Conducts inventory.
•Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
•High School Diploma or GED required.
•Basic computer skills. Experience with web-based software and ERP systems required.
•Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
•Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required.
•Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
