Use commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology that uses utility meter data, weather data, and property data to develop energy conservation measures. Analyze energy and cost savings. + Design DoD installation distribution system models using power systems modeling software. Manage and standardize data file formats. + Support the evaluation of microgrid designs developed by commercial entities. Review one-line diagrams and assess feasibility. Evaluate cost reasonableness. + Work with other engineers to develop processing applications that import utility data, transform it, and deliver it to an Army meter data management system. + Support other electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineers with prototype development.
