The Cloud Software Engineer will provide development and O&M support for a production system utilized to support logistics and transportation management data to the DoD. The cloud software engineer will work in conjunction with developers in an agile approach to respond to break fix issues and to drive enhancements into the solution that meets the needs of the end users. The candidate should have substantial cloud experience, direct experience with refactoring applications to meet the needs of cloud environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical and has a proven commitment to quality with a solid understanding of agile systems development methodologies, DEVSECOPs, Cloud technologies and troubleshooting approaches. 7+ years of experience with a bachelors degree in a technical field, i.e. engineering, computer science, information technology Demonstrated experience with SQL, Java, AWS, Teradata, Oracle Experience with Python Developing test plans, executing tests and reporting results Application refactoring in order to improve applications security or cloud readiness Configuration management Business process documentation, architecture frameworks and design specifications Experience delivering security solutions, maintaining software, STIGS, SRGs, patches Analysis of alternatives and trade off analysis Data warehouse, distribution, visualization, intelligence Experience with IBM Cognos and SAP BOBJ Since 1993, ITP has been providing reliable, cost-effective solutions to meet our customers’ goals and objectives in the commercial and public marketplace.
