You’re ultimately responsible for delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.Objectives of this RoleMaximize project efficiency and profitabilityDetermine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completionDevelop scope and parameters for project design and implementationIdentify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnelDevelop and control the full project-plan lifecycle

Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesManage wide range of projects from newly awarded business, machine installation and existing tooling/equipment refurbishment purchase until PPAP approval using visual tools.Determines project specifications by studying product design & customer requirements.Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project oversight, and report regularly to plant manager to keep him/her constantly informed of project progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering supplier contractsDetermines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.Developing specifications and scope for the project's needed equipment.Manage suppliers involved in the projects and monitor their timelines.Prepare Process Flow, PFMEA and control plan for all the new project working with the cross functional teams.Ensure PPAP submission and approval for all the assigned projects.Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field of study2+ years project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality)Proven computer platform experienceStrong field management experienceExperience supporting Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes

Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of design software (CAD/CAM)GD&T knowledgewith MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, preferably Microsoft Projectunderstanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practiceson CNC machining and Die Casting.
