Job Position at Military Correctional Complex This position is located within the Military Correctional Complex and requires frequent, direct contact with inmates. It has been designated as a primary/rigorous and is eligible for Law Enforcement (LEO) retirement coverage. The maximum entry age for positions covered under this retirement is 37 years old. Responsibilities include serving as Lead Inmate Services Clerk, ensuring the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team, coaching the team in problem solving methods, reviewing and evaluating material for entry into the United States Disciplinary Barracks (USDB)/Joint Regional Correctional Facility (JRCF), maintaining inmate funds, and preparing financial or fund-related reports. Qualifications: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job. You will be asked to identify which category or categories you meet, and to provide documents which prove you meet the category or categories you selected. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized experience includes evaluating incoming inmate material or mail for compliance with regulations and using automated systems to maintain inmate fund accounts. Education: Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
