Front End Lead Software EngineerClient's Front Office Technology team is looking for a Lead Senior Frontend Software Engineer for their front office suite of application supporting trading, marketing, trade analysis and research.

Role ObjectivesResponsibilitiesFront-end software development workWorking to replace and/or integrate legacy systemsRunning daily scrums, JIRA groomingEvaluating and proposing technical designsFollow Software development lifecycleCreating documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code commentsMonitoring, collecting, and analyzing of software or system issues

Qualifications and SkillsRequired

At least 5 years of professional experience with React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, Node.js, REST/Websocket1-2 years basic Java experience for support, maintenanceExperience in development of scalable or distributed systems, with high volume transactionsUnderstanding of software engineering best practices, coding standards, code reviews, source management, testing, etcDomain knowledge in the Fixed Income spaceGood communication skills. Ability to directly interface and support users

OpenFin experienceAngularFamiliarity with FigmaLight understanding of SQL, Spring, Messaging Queues (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, etc),light knowledge of devOps, VMs, cloud, Kubernetes, etcExperience with deal and trade flows, trade process, etc. a plus

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
