Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor

As a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor at CCMSI, you will be responsible for the investigation, adjustment, and supervision of assigned claims. This position serves as advanced training for consideration for a management role. Your contributions are vital in upholding the quality of claim services, ensuring client satisfaction, and compliance with our Corporate Claim Standards.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and laws.
  • Oversee reserves for designated claims within authority levels.
  • Negotiate disputed bills or invoices for resolution.
  • Authorize and make claim payments in accordance with industry standards.
  • Assist in selecting, referring, and supervising designated claim files sent to outside vendors.
  • Handle litigated and complex claims directly.
  • Provide education, training, and assistance to develop claim staff.
  • Maintain a personal diary on the claim system.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of claim experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience (preferred).

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Adjuster's license is preferred
  • AIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred.
