Summary:

The Accounting Auditor serves as an integral part of the Finance team by providing technical and analytical expertise to a busy retail/c-store environment. This position is responsible for providing audit support to assigned businesses under the Toot'n Totum family of companies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures proper processing of various vendor billing, store deposits, and inventory audits for Car Care Centers.
  • Reconciles bank and check reconciliations for the Car Care Centers.
  • Sends monthly statements to customers and process customer payments.
  • Supports and facilitates organizational changes, continuous improvement, and communication.
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with management and all team members that will enable the Finance function to be viewed as an integral part of the business.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated Accounting experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; keen attention to detail.
  • Decisive at making decisions and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Accounting software.
  • Requires rapid and thorough decision making and creative problem-solving skills, good judgment as well as the ability to accept personal accountability for areas of responsibility.
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years' experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at time.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
