Room Attendant

Description

We're in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guestrooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team-player, and a highly-organized professional.

Responsibilities

•Clean bathroom by replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap
•Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and walkways
•Dust and polish furniture
•Empty trash
•Clean pool area
•Do laundry when required
•Clean, stock and maintain organized housekeeping closets, laundry room, and pool towel room
•Reply to general questions guests have during their stay, always referring them to the Front Desk for further assistance
•Others cleaning duties as requested by management
•Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
•Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
•Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies
•Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel's standards prior to guest arrival

Qualifications

•Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
•At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
•Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
•Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
