How you will contribute?

As a Logistics Coordinator supporting the Fleet & Logistics team, planning and organizational skills are crucial. This position will play an active role in providing day-to-day support for Ahern's ~700 construction and service fleet drivers, including new vehicle setups, processing registration and insurance card renewals, driver qualification file maintenance, driver log compliance monitoring, and vehicle recalls. On occasion, the Logistics Coordinator will assist in collaborating with our shops and field project teams to schedule material and equipment deliveries to job sites. Additionally, this role will support ongoing fleet and logistics process improvement projects.

What you need to qualify?

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have excellent decision-making, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills, in addition to the ability to handle multiple tasks and be able to work well independently as well as with team members. A high school diploma and one or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Prior exposure to supply chain, transportation, vehicle maintenance, logistics, or regulatory compliance fields is not required, but would all be relevant experience for this role.
