In this role, you will not only contribute to backend development but also actively participate in all decision-making processes, influencing major aspects of the application. We value team members who are eager to take on diverse responsibilities and make significant contributions to our project's success.Job Responsibilities:Play a central role in developing and maintaining backend services using .NET technologiesWrite, test, and debug APIs, services, and microservicesImplement and maintain secure and efficient database interactions, particularly with SQLEnsure robust application security practices, including OAUTH and JWT token-based authorizationApply and advocate for enterprise design patterns such as CLEAN architecture or onion architectureBe a key player in decision-making, influencing the direction and design of major parts of the applicationCollaborate closely with all team members in a dynamic, agile environment.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, ensuring clear understanding and collaborationAdherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requestedAs part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize riskRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant discipline5+ years of experience in related fieldProven experience in backend .NET developmentStrong skills in API development, microservices, and advanced .NET techniques.Expertise in SQL and database managementOutstanding communication and team collaboration skillsAbility to effectively participate in and contribute to decision-making processesA proactive, responsible approach to project ownership and task completionEagerness to engage in a small team environment, contributing to all aspects of project developmentAbout Us:Envestnet is a leading independent provider of technology‐enabled investment and practice management solutions to financial advisors who are independent, as well as those who are associated with small or mid‐sized financial advisory firms and larger financial institutions.
