Part-time Project Manager

Overview CLIENT ASSOCIATION(s): Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council, EUFAC POSITION REPORTS TO: Executive Director, EUFAC DIRECT REPORTS: None EMPLOYEE STATUS: Exempt, Part-time (20 hours per week, benefit eligible) ROLE TYPE/LEVEL: Mid Level (Non-Supervisory) CLIENT/DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council (EUFAC) was created to provide subspecialty fellowship program accreditation for Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowships. In order to achieve the mission of providing accreditation to programs, EUFAC evaluates applications for accreditation using published accreditation standards. EUFAC represents a coalition of Emergency Medicine organizations with a common goal of quality subspecialty training in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography. Job Overview Manages technology projects and processes related to the EUFAC Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) fellowship accreditation including but not limited to: working with a Drupal developer and EDI technology teams to customize the application portal and create reports for the EUFAC accreditation system. Ensures upkeep of the EUFAC informational website. Development of custom reports to assist in ensuring EUFACs ability for consistent accreditation decisions based on published AEMUS Program Requirements. Position Responsibilities (20.0 hours/week) Work with contracted Drupal developer to implement custom modules on the EUFAC application portal Test new and updated features of the EUFAC portal Determine areas for improvement of EUFAC portal processes Develop reports to track accreditation decisions and historical data for future reference Maintain timelines and work with Drupal developer, EUFAC Executive Director, and EUFAC Chair to timely set up and implement Annual questionnaires and new application forms Coordinate future technology projects and work with Executive Director on budgets and timelines Provide technical support for EUFAC virtual and in-person meetings Manage upkeep and security measures for EUFAC informational site Work with subject matter experts to manage integration of EUFAC portal data into Nimble AMS Attend EUFAC review meetings Every three years, provide support for the review and update of AEMUS program requirements as required by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) Provide backup for the Executive Director when needed Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Candidate has basic computer program literacy and is able to effectively communicate with subject matter experts to outline and implement technology projects. Willingness to learn about the healthcare/accreditation industry, while evaluating ways for process improvement. Strong communication skills with adaptability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (technology professionals, physicians, administrative staff). Project management skills (ability to work with budgets and timelines). Education/Experience Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in related field. Ability to professionally communicate with developers discussing projects utilizing a variety of software products, including Drupal, Nimble, WordPress. Willingness to acquire additional programming/computer/reporting skills to efficiently manage projects. Computer proficiency, outstanding organizational and communication skills. Travel Required Approximately 1 week per year. Work Environment This is a full-time position located in our office in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role. Physical Requirements Light lifting, bending, may occasionally be required.
