Responsible for the most complex activities associated with general ledger, financial/operating reports, and budget analysis. This level requires broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles including the preparation of strategic recommendations to management. May coach less senior accountants. Role typically requires more than 5 years of experience. Cost Accounting and Inventory experience a plus. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant is responsible for ownership of assigned journal entries to ensure accurate and timely month-end closings, preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reporting, general ledger account reconciliations, participating in physical inventories, work-in-progress accounting, and auditing of purchase cards and expense reports. The incumbent interacts with most levels within the Company through providing information for use in analyzing and interpreting financial results. Primary responsibilities and/or essential functions include, but are not limited to: Financial statements presentation and analysis. Prepares monthly reporting metrics. Prepares journal entries for recurring provisions. Completes monthly account reconciliations. Participates and assists in the audit of physical inventory counts at shop and field locations. Work in progress and cost accounting. Partners with our engineering team to analyze and review capital expenditures which include ROI analysis, available spend tracking, and maintaining the fixed asset ledger. Actively participates in the

preparation/consolidation

of annual budgets for the Repair Business Unit. Creates, maintains, and improves reporting templates to provide ad hoc financial reporting to internal customers. Supports monthly reporting requirements to parent company in One Stream. Maintains/documents lease contracts. Audits expense reports and Purchase Card transactions. Participates in and actively supports quality projects, activities, and Responsible Care initiatives to ensure that the Company achieves its goals. SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior inventory accounting experience a big plus. Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to learn new software or reporting tools. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Attention to detail and commitment to quality financial reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with financial report writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment to complete complex financial tasks with minimal supervision. Minimal travel required for annual repair shop inventories. The incumbent works to meet internal and external customer expectations at all times by fully applying oneself to the task involved, preventing errors, and developing and implementing personal quality improvement projects. In addition, the incumbent is required to understand the Responsible Care Management System and actively participate in activities outlined therein.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in accounting and/or financial analysis. Experience with Hyperion, Dynamics AX, Power BI, Tableau, and query tools such as StarQuery, Global Software Spreadsheet Server and/or Showcase is a strong plus. DISCLAIMER:
