On Site - Human Resources Specialist/Coordinator - Healthcare

6-month Contract with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team at our partner healthcare facility. This dynamic role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain employee credentialing and HR documentation
  • Conduct payroll audits for bonus and compensation accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws
  • Manage confidential employee files and records
  • Support credentialing process between various departments
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Process HR-related paperwork and maintain filing systems
  • Generate and distribute staff reports as needed
  • Assist with employee onboarding and documentation
  • Support HR team with special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years credentialing or HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
  • Customer service background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) designation
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Healthcare or non-profit experience
  • Previous experience with payroll and bonus administration
