On Site - Human Resources Specialist/Coordinator - Healthcare
6-month Contract with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team at our partner healthcare facility. This dynamic role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain employee credentialing and HR documentation
- Conduct payroll audits for bonus and compensation accuracy
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws
- Manage confidential employee files and records
- Support credentialing process between various departments
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Process HR-related paperwork and maintain filing systems
- Generate and distribute staff reports as needed
- Assist with employee onboarding and documentation
- Support HR team with special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years credentialing or HR experience
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
- Customer service background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to handle confidential information
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) designation
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Healthcare or non-profit experience
- Previous experience with payroll and bonus administration
