Endocrinology Physician in Kansas City Metro

Located in suburban Kansas City, AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused endocrinologist to add to its busy existing group.
Our physicians provide a full range of endocrinology and diabetes care including treatment for thyroid and adrenal disorders and osteoporosis, as well as prescribe patients with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
The practice employs a full-time Certified Diabetes Educators and has convenient access to dieticians due to its location on the hospital campus. The position is an in/outpatient opportunity.
+ 1 in 4 call rotation
+ Call weeks are inpatient only, with no obligation to do outpatient clinic those weeks.
+ 24hr call (inpatient and cover outpatient clinic call at night)
+ Friday 7am Friday 7am
+ EMR Epic
+ 18-20 daily inpatients
Candidates must be well-trained, BC/BE, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Fellowship trained physicians are highly encouraged to apply as we are looking to grow subspecialty services within our group. Our excellent compensation package includes a guaranteed salary for the first 12 months, then based on RVU production, along with a quality bonus. Benefits include sign-on bonus, childcare, medical, dental, vision, 403B retirement, ample PDO, professional CME reimbursement and wonderful work-life balance
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is an award-winning 504 bed hospital with a Medical Staff of over 700 physicians representing over 50 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has a level III NICU with 24-hour neonatology coverage and is affiliated with the MD Anderson Cancer Network.
