What you will do:As our Electrical Design Engineer, you will help the Operations Teams design custom engineered control panels used to automate industrial equipment across a range of different industries. These industries include food processing, packaging, HVAC, vacuum process, chemical, oil/gas and water/wastewater (just to name a few) This position works at our Randolph, MA location.The job:Every day you will design engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical, review/interpret specifications to build products used for industrial automation applications and create bills of materials and documentation for the manufacturing of control panels. You will also work in close cooperation with Operation Coordinators, Sales, and external customers to ensure understanding and to obtain required information. The skills you need:To thrive in this job, you must have experience with designing industrial controls, creating schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with UL508/698A and NFPA70E standards and their application. You must be able to work individually and as a part of a team. Previous PLC programming and HMI development skills and a 2-year Electrical Engineering degree with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Questions you may have:When you are considering a new job, it is normal to have a ton of questions.
