One position will be based on the campus of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami; the second at an outpatient center located near Fort Lauderdale in Broward County. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in general pediatrics Experience with or a strong interest in the medical home model of care Passionate about advocacy, equity, and improving care for medically complex children Eager to work in an academic setting and contribute to our mission of teaching and clinical excellence Practice Overview 10 locations throughout South Florida (5 in Miami-Dade County, 5 in Broward County) 19 full-time pediatricians; 2 PAs; 2 APRNs Monday-Saturday office hours with shared on-call coverage Collegial environment with opportunities for collaboration and quality improvement Opportunities to engage with residents and medical students Our pediatric care centers offer comprehensive care to children from birth through age 21 and serve as a trusted medical home for the local community, offering well-child visits, sick care, developmental screenings, and coordination with pediatric subspecialists when needed.
