CFS has partnered with a well-respected, long-standing construction company located in Raleigh. Our client is seeking a full-time CFO to be a key member of the executive team and take on a strategic role in the growth and management of the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead and manage all facets of Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology operations within the organization.

Delivering prompt and precise analysis of financial performance, budgets, and trends.

Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute strategic and operational business plans, initiatives, and systems.

Contribute to the establishment and execution of both short-term and long-term business objectives, policies, and operational protocols in tandem with the executive team.

Engage with business units to furnish assistance for their initiatives through insightful financial and managerial information analysis, reports, and recommendations.

Uphold robust internal controls and ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant federal, state, and local regulatory statutes and regulations for financial and tax reporting.

Background Expectations:

BS/MBA in Finance or Accounting--CPA highly preferred

10+ years of progression through financial leadership roles--mining and construction background preferred
